Helpful Hints for your Montage:
- 1.) It usually takes 1 song for every 30-35 images. Give a lot of thought to the music that you choose for each title section. Music adds so much emotion and power to your images and the feelings the video creates.
- 2.) The better the quality of the photos, the better they will look on the DVD. We can touch up and color correct the photos, but dark, grainy photos will still show it on the DVD. But don’t hesitate to send old, tattered photos, for these are usually the most cherished and add so much emotion to the DVD.
- 3.) Use a variety of photos, such as landscapes, portraits, action, and groups of friends. We can use up to 8x10’s to build your Montage. Photos need to be removed from photo albums and scrapbooks, etc.. All images have to be out of albums or scrap books for us to use.
- 4.) Add video clips if they are available, this breaks up the photos, and video clips are as cherished and precious as the photos are.
- 5.) Add a note of thanks. We can add a note written to the recipient of the DVD, placed over a photo, thanking them for everything they have done. (An example for an anniversary DVD: Thanks Mom and Dad, for all the sacrifices and hard times all of us children put you through, we love you more with each passing day, all your children).
- 6.) Add a Tribute segment, for all the loved ones that passed before your special occasion. (An example in a Wedding Montage, a series of photos of lost loved ones, with their names and date of passing, all set to music). This can be added to your Montage.
- 7.) Test and re-test the equipment that will be used to show your Montage before the event starts. Especially if it will be shown at a large event, test the equipment several times and make sure everything is working correctly with the projector or TV. Trust Me! It will save you a lot of grief.
